Sub – In Scouting & Guiding - Compensatory Leave / Earned leave in lieu of duties performed   

           during Breaks and vacation-reg.

Madam / Sir,

                With reference to KVS (HQ) letter No. F. 15-16/2003-KVS (Acad.) / BS&G / dated 08.01.2004 Scout Masters / Guide Captains / Cub Masters and Flock Leaders who perform duties in various training courses, Camps, Rallies, Jamborees etc. during Summer vacation, winter and Autumn breaks are entitled for earned leave @3/5 in lieu of days they have worked, if the duration is 10 days or more. However, they may be granted Compensatory leave if the duration of camp / course etc is less than 10 days. Meanwhile it is felt that when a teacher takes compensatory leave at a stretch, for a number of days the academic work in the vidyalaya gets affected. Thus, in the interest of vidyalaya, teachers may be allowed to take compensatory leave in parts during the session but with the prior permission of the Principal.

            Please circulate the letter among all SM/GC/CM/FL of your vidyalaya.
