Sh.
Sanjeev Trivedi threw light on some of the major decisions taken in the State
Council Meeting held on 30.06.2016 in New Delhi.
During
open discussion the following points were raised by members and adopted for
implementation –
i)
During discussion it was
emphasised that as per new guidelines two
periods of CCA should be used for Scouts and Guides activities too. Thus,
there should not be any problem in running the S/G units during school working
hours.
ii) A common activity calendar is also enclosed to facilitate proper
advancement of S/G/C/B in the respective units.
iii) Sh. S.K. Verma, Divisional Commissioner and Dy. Commissioner, KVS (RO)
Lucknow said that each unit leader should have a unit (Troop / Company / Pack /
Crew) registered in his / her name. He said that each vidyalaya should have S/G
units running. He also emphasised on the need to promote Cub / Bulbul
activities in more visible manner. The functioning of S/G units will be
evaluated at the time of inspection. He said that if a KV does not have any
trained teacher, the Principal of concerned KV shall depute two teachers (one
lady and one gents) to register the S/G units and send these teachers for
training when ever it is organised.
iv) All activities, be it at Vidyalaya level, cluster level, district level
or divisional level should be monitored
by DOC, DTC, Distt. Commissioner and Distt. Chief Commissioner.
v) Sh. K.S. Yadav said that all trained SM, GC, CM & FL should wear,
compulsorily, their uniform during Unit Meetings, Vidyalaya Inspection, testing
& training camps etc. It has been observed that
though many teachers trained long back and having experience of many years lack
proper wearing of Uniform.. It is because of their improper wearing of uniform,
their students are also not wearing proper uniform. It has been observed that
even during inspection also many teachers do not wear uniform. Uniform is our
Pride and one should feel on wearing uniform. The Principals of such
vidyalayas should ensure proper wearing of S/G Uniform by the teachers and
students.
vi) All KVs should register their units and send IRF / GRF latest by 5th
August 2016 and send Annual contribution @ Rs. 8/- per student on the total
strength as on 1st August 2016.
